Greetings Cartographers,

After lurking around here for a few years, I have finally decided to make an account. As I recently purchased a tablet for my online teaching job, I figured this is probably the best time to begin drawing some maps. Like many of you, I'm a GM who has become too obsessed with their own worlds to live in the real one, and its time for me to take the next step.

I'm not much of a mapper, but I did once before try out Ascensions' Atlas tutorial to some success, and I learned a lot about photoshop in the process. Well, I've downloaded GIMP and I'm hoping to start pounding out some tutorials to learn more techniques before maybe finding a style I particularly like.
