Map A map of a valheim world

My friends and I were playing valheim and it really got me in the mood to map again. I ended up making one of our world as much as we had built and explored at the time I began.
I tried some new nibs and ink which I think turned out pretty good, though there was some spillage and flow problems. Preparing and cleaning up takes a lot longer with dip pens but somehow I enjoy it more than just whipping out a fineliner.

Hi oakdesk, this map is looking really good. The linework looks really good and I really like the little details you have scattered around like the monsters, the shipreck, and the small island with a shadow with eyes in the water.

I made the shift over to nib pens myself a few months ago, there is definitely a learning curve involved but it is somehow much more satisfying and the line quality is better than I was ever able to get with a fine liner.

I absolutely love those clouds, this is really good work. Also, the way you made that little northern island look spooky with the shadow of the water is pretty cool.

I've seen that Valheim game, looks pretty interesting, I just won't play early access games. Games have enough issues at release, let alone basically paying the maker to play test. Using people's inability to wait as a way to fund your development is pretty clever though.
