    I can't believe WotC actually published a map like that. It just seems... amateur. Like the kind of map someone would make their first time opening up Photoshop and finding the bevel feature.

    Try to cut them some slack NT.

    The map is clear, colourful and vibrant. I bet it would print nice on glossy paper too. Dont forget that in isolation, as a capture or export on the monitor we see it in a different light.

    For myself, I find it hard when I'm going down one style path to not judge other styles unfairly. Sometimes its only when I'm frustrated or see the limitations of a particular style that I give other approaches a fair shake.

    This doesn't begin to mention the realities of publishing. It illustrates well and helped get the adventure out the door and onto the market. It even attracted an emulator...

    Sorry, but I'm not going to cut a multi-million dollar publising/design company any slack when it comes to the quality of their published materials.
