Favinia - hand drawn world map

Howdy, Cartographers!

Here is the latest map from my workshop. World of Favinia in Nicolosi gobular projection plus two gnomonic projection of polar regions.



This is a map for a role-playing game for kids (Adventurers! 2ed).

I decided to expand the universe a bit, where I already drew one continent Harmony (you can see it here.)

I also wanted to practice drawing with colored pencils and plotting a map in Nicolosi & gnomonic projection.

I had a lot of fun creating this map. I hope you will enjoy it.





Technique: - ink, watercolours & colored pencils with a touch of photoshop
Paper - Canson Illustration 250g
Format - 65x50 cm

This is looking great. I really like the use of colour, especially on the landmasses.

This is really good! The composition is excellent, and you did a great job using colored pencils to indicate both topography and land type. I like the little diagram of the solar system, too.
