    Map Eerik's new job

    Hello fellow cartographers!

Here's a map made in 2023 (but which I forgot to post in the "finished maps" section of the forum... stupid me).

Some of you may remember, but there was a community participation project on this forum, which was a bit in the vein of guild city or guild world. It was called guild characters. The idea was to tell a guild world legend. An event to celebrate the guild's 15th anniversary, which of course had to include one or more maps.

Here's the story, which takes place in the fjord-filled Nordic country I drew for guild world.

And here's the map that sums up the story :

For those who haven't seen it yet, I hope you like it... As does the story behind it.

    Take care

Thank you Ink_alpinistv! Welcome to the guild! And it's true, there's so much to discover here: everyone shares a bit of their world and their know-how, and even after years, you can make some great discoveries and have some wonderful surprises! I'm really pleased that you liked this map/story and I'm looking forward to seeing your work!

Thanks for your message, Adfor! There are still a few things I'm not happy with on this map, but I'll take your kind words and keep them with me to motivate me to get better at mapping!

A wonderful map and the fact that you furthered the Guild's project makes me ashamed and jealous. Great job Joël
