Best thing to do is go to Chgowiz's Blog Page, which is linked on his first post at the top of this thread (located right after the prize list), post your question as a comment on his Blog page, and he'll answer you directly. I had a question for the contest myself and he answered within 10 minutes of my posting it.

I would think it would be perfectly fine to use Kobold Minion or Gobline Cutter, instead of their generic name - but its probably better to ask.
