December 2023 Challenge: Midwinter's Eve in Coalfell
It's been a few months since I could join a contest, but finally found some time so I'm joining for this month. I decided to practice my hand drawn style (which is a continuing work in progress). Here's my lineart so far...

I was able to get a lot more done, including the shading and most of the color. I still have more detailing to do and then labeling. I drew the line art in Clip Studio Paint, but the rest I have been painting in Rebelle 7, which is quick becoming a favorite for me.

In the sleepy town of Coalfell nothing ever happens. Until on Midwinters Eve when a strange portal appeared in the middle of the river....
I think I am calling this one done, unless I get another burst of inspiration or see something else to improve.
