Ascension, for setting the bar for me to work up to.
Rogueleader, your city scares me. Very post-apocalyptic in a Fallout sort of way, not so much Mad Max.
Map Vandal, I dig the wide open feel, the birds-eye-view, and the contrast in mood between 80% of your map and the bottom right corner. This happy pastoral village hard up against the nasty forest.
First time voter in the monthly challenge, I'd like to say it's pretty rough. I am almost inclined to explain why I didn't vote for certain entries, as more than three drew my eyes. I'm also inclined to rep more than three entries. While on that subject, I wonder if it would be possible to make repping these maps a little easier. Right now I think I must track down the original thread to rep the maps I like.
Anyway, first pick to Map Vandal, I love the perspective and pastoral setting. Second to RougeLeader89, too dark, IMO, but beautiful nonetheless. Third pick, horribly difficult to decide, to ravells. Though sparsely populated, implying an unfinished work, even the three buildings qualify, and I love the style.
Post Script; Valarian's thumbnail will not enlarge for me.

Wow, thank Feral...it was unfinished by a long way.
@FeralSpirit - You do not need the original post. Any post by that person will allow you to 'rep' them.

If I do win, I'll pass the prize on to the second place finisher (if he wants it, or third or fourth, etc.) as I don't intend to ever use it. I map for fun and for learning new things and trying new techniques. The ProFantasy stuff really doesn't interest me, no offense. If anyone has a problem with that then I'll re-gift it in a future challenge.

Congrats Ascension!!!
Wonder if MapVandal wants the voucher! Thanks for being so kind about giving it away to second place. It's very honourable of you and quite within keeping of your character.
Feral didn't even place? I demand a recount!
Ok, jokes aside, who is SubtleDagger, and how much do I owe him?
Congratz Ascension! Edram is a fine piece and the Golden Compass is well deserved.
