    many thanks for this tutorial, Ascension
    I'll try it out with my next map ^^ as I was having problems with folds in my previous attempt
    and your map is really awesome - the mountains are very beautiful

    btw I had some free time and did a PDF with the tut for myself for easier use
    the file's attached below

    Nice, except for one thing. Folds like you have would be created by folding the map, then opening it, and folding it again in the other direction. Far more likely is that it would be folded, and then folded in the other direction without opening it. This would result in the second fold going from 'in' to 'out' as it crosses the first.

    The horizontal fold is the second one. It is a ridge on the left, and a valley on the right while the vertical fold is a valley all the way along.
