Kesumi - Lands of the old Empire

I posted this as a WIP, but never posted the finished product, so I will go ahead and do that now.

The ancient Manothian Empire fell apart several hundred years ago. Now, that powerful land is only a memory, but there are still some who long for those days when the Empire influenced the world. In the kingdom of Ral Torath, the people there are working at bringing about those great days. With the backing of the powerful Church of the Dark Lady, they already have influence in most of the lands. In fact, Kanjayar is little more than a puppet kingdom, and the royal family of Nam Brakar now has ties to the leadership of Ral Torath.

In the lands north of the Miriathian Sea, the leaders of those countries see what is happening, and fear that soon the mighty empire to the south may once again rise up to make war on them.
