It's only ichthyology if you don't want to mix your Latin and Greek roots. If you're willing to do a little mixing the you get "piscology," which is close enough to psychology to work in the context. Much like finding out that thesaurus means "the lizard" (from the English "the" and the Greek "saurus", meaning "lizard").

Ah, nothing like a little entomology work to get the bugs out. Not to be confused with "ettinmology" which is the study of what nasty two-headed ogre-type creatures to to unfortunates that cross their path.

Okies, I need sleep. More specifically, I need to drive two hours, wait two more hours to get onto a flight for three hours to wait for two hours to get on a flight that goes another couple of hours so that I can drive a rental car to a haunted hotel in New Orleans where I can get some sleep.
