    Post Kelfent, in the marshes.

    Kelfent is a cursed town.
Sitted on the banks of a murky river, his sewers are infected by ratmen.
On the western island stand the creepy castel of his lord ; a sad man that lost his daughter years ago.

This is my next mapping project.

Bigger than Branwynn. my main fear is that the FM file crash.

    Wait & see

Interesting start, Here's hoping FM doesn't crash on you *crosses fingers*

Definitely an interesting idea. I like the backstory and I like seeing a city built on a delta like that. Good luck with the project!

    Post A small update.

City walls, square, houses and some special buildings, barbicans and trees added.

Most houses are wooded roofs to add poverty and slumy mood.

Reminds me a little of The Styes from Dungeon. Interesting start! I'm curious how this one will turn out!

    Without a crash...

Here stands the murky and doomed city of Kelfent.
It seems it's finished... Waiting in the mists of the swamp to meet her fate.

Who will find the secret of the ratmen thieve's guild "les Rongeurs" and save the count from his mysterious melancolia fever ?

    Enjoy, comment, critic

It looks good, but I think it lacks the 'swampy, gloomy' atmosphere I believe you were trying for.

Don't have any good suggestions for changes, but you might want to look at the variuos Fogdown maps by RedStar (there are some other swamp village town maps as well). They may give you some ideas.

Once again... You made me sweat...
Anyway... Do it or don't do it, but there's no trial.
Here's what I done : a layer with spraybrush, reduced opacity, gray tones and very high bluring effect...
My only regret : I don't know how a fog swirls on a swamp's delta ; all my apologies.

What do you think about, fellows ?

I do see the fog, looks really nice so far. I'd like to see it darker if it is a swamp but as it is I think you're on to something.
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.
