    I did the text fairly quickly without giving it too much thought, but I see what you mean. The original map had a more 'Wild West' style font that I might use again, either way I think I will touch it up a bit, thanks!

    For the campaign, we used a slightly modified d20 system that pulled from various other things but mainly stock D&D. We created our own rules for firearms, which definitely included six-shooters (the theme was Wild West meets Steampunk) and unless I root through some old files I can't remember exactly how it works. I do remember kicking around Deadlands or something like it when we were concepting the system, but I don't remember anything more than that.

    Sorry! I normally make maps at much much higher resolutions, but this one I created at the stock 8 1/2 x 11 size in photoshop. I mainly did it that way so I could belt it out in an afternoon. Below is a work in progress from another map I've been doing off and on that is at a much higher resolution. I drew it out in pen first, scanned it in and now am toying around with the colors:
