    Whaouh ! This displace effect is great, it's exactly what I wanted to do, and I thought it was absolutely impossible !! (See the result below)

    that's nice.

    One comment, with the current texture on the map it almost looks more like cloth.

    Which is in itself a neat effect If you had smoother wrinkles (if that's possible) I'd be convinced on that one.

    However you end up working it, this is one cool looking map. And gets me thinking I should use displacement maps in photoshop when I do my crumpled paper effects...

    I understand, it looks a bit like a rag :-D

    But you're right, the folds are too marked for paper.
    I have limited texture by varying the opacity of the texture.
    This time, it should be good.

    Nice. That really helps with the illusion. And it makes for a great CC3 > GIMP workflow.
