If the text is in its own layers, then you should just be able to select the text layer and change the color by selecting another. Otherwise, you could probably select by color and use your fill tool to change the color.

If you think you can't learn to do this... its not true. I can't draw a straight line with a ruler, but with a little time and effort (father of five working 60 hours a week, so mapping is a small hobby) you can.

This has come quite a long way! A couple of small critiques:

1. The font on the western archipelago is difficult to read;
2. It looks like there is some overlap between the the great lake in the north of the West-most continent and the land surrounding it;
3. The transition from temperate to arctic zones seems a bit stark (if you apply a 100px Gaussian blur to the arctic color layers this might help a bit).

Otherwise looks great!
