How large is the native image euio? Can you export a full-sized one so we can see it as it is intended to be seen?

Unfortunately, that's the full size. I couldn't find a larger satellite image centered on the area.

If you know anywhere to find good satellite photos, please tell me.

Unfortunately all I can suggest is that you stitch one together from Google or one of the other tools. But that would look patchy unless you duplicated the elements independently. Unless you're used to doing that, you'd be hard-put to get it done on a 2k x 2k image in the ten days remaining until the challenge ends. I'm used to doing it on a much smaller scale (city sized) but regional is completely new to me when it comes to modeling something existing.

    Changing tack.

I'm done with the satellite image part. All labels, borders, highlighted areas, &c. will be on the map on the left.

I think this was a good idea euio, and suddenly your piece has some legs. Depending on your time available and your inclination, you could even put in some other perspectives, perhaps tightening the scale somewhat to show detail of a certain area with some kind of blow-up. That kind of thing can be very interesting if done well. Toff did a helluva job with that two challenges ago and he won.

Good idea. Perhaps photographs as well.

Here's a start on adding text & things to the right map. Probably not the best style to use, in hindsight.
