The Cartographers’ Guild is a forum created by and for map makers and aficionados, a place where every aspect of cartography can be admired, examined, learned, and discussed. Our membership consists of professional designers and artists, hobbyists, and amateurs—all are welcome to join and participate in the quest for cartographic skill and knowledge.
Although we specialize in maps of fictional realms, as commonly used in both novels and games (both tabletop and role-playing), many Guild members are also proficient in historical and contemporary maps. Likewise, we specialize in computer-assisted cartography (such as with GIMP, Adobe apps, Campaign Cartographer, Dundjinni, etc.), although many members here also have interest in maps drafted by hand.

and the white and gray colors), it's relatively obvious, but with no labels, it may just appear to be a blob in the center of the map, or even a crater, instead of mountains. Of course, I have no true advice to give in regards to methods you could use to bring out the mountains more. If you had some way to make them look a bit more 3-Dish, or maybe expanded them a bit on the X or Y plane to make them less of a circle, and more of a range. However, that would change your map, and that's probably not something you're interested in! Other than that, very neat map, I love when people take earth maps and arrange them accordingly to fit a campaign or world.
