Those shipping lanes are quite sneaky - I love em.

Your roads looks great and don't make the map look too busy at all. Nicely done.

Yep, like the roads. The shipping lanes look identical to your political borders though. Perhaps do them as dark dots or dashed lines? They made me wonder why there were shipping lanes over the land for a while (portage routes )

I see what you mean. I will do some more work before the final version. Thanks for pointing that out. It would probably have escaped my notice.

I am not going to post another pic of my map but I just wanted to finish this thread by saying that I have taken Torstan's advice but instead of changing my shipping lanes I changed my political borders to a dashed line instead of a dotted one. I also added a few more labels and now I think its ready for print. Thanks to all for the help!

Thanks Syt, I really appreciate your kind words. This map is 100% inspired and made possibe by Ramah and his Vaniya and Aronbor maps. It was his maps that drew me to this site and inspired and motivated me to do better. The credit should really go to him.

That said, I couldn't be happier with the way this map has turned out. I can't wait to have a poster size copy of it hanging on my wall so I can look at it that much more

Definitely one of the most beautiful maps I've seen on here. Awesome job, dude.
