    Yuck...I've just loaded it and registered with Cornucopia.

    I'm only just starting with it (been a long time user of Bryce for many years) but it looks like all the renders come with the Vue logo stamped hugely on them.

    Need to look at this in more detail but my initial thoughts about the free version are not good (although the full version looks just stunning).

    Yeah, the Vue8 full version (~$1,400) is simply awesome looking - reviewed favorably in 3D World by a guy from ILM. Pioneer is pretty darned cool for a free app but all of the useful components have to be purchased separately (import module ~$130, render module ~$49, etc.). Bryce is actually pretty cheap these days and does a lot more than the free version with no add-ons. Still, you can't beat free.
