Default Mountains of East Africa - old style map

    Hi all,

The first map I am working on it the following

the idea is to get a map of the main mountains in East Africa. Of course the map should look a bit cool. I am new in mapmaking but I have quite some experience in photoshop. I am looking to tips and ideas to make the map look more interesting.

I hope the inserting of the picture goes well ;-)

    Cheers,
    Robbert

I like it. I like the big sense of scale and how far apart everything seems.

And nice colors/design in general, too. The one think I noticed is that the ocean should probably contrast a little more from the land.
