Wip Dec/Jan 2014 liteChallenge: MiltonMills village

I have only done a few village maps in the past, but I used a new technique (new for me anyway) recently so I am working on a new map for this challenge.

The grass background is a modified grass by Hero339 (from DA) with water and gravel textures from cgTextures.

Thanks, I am going to try to add mostly objects that I made myself.

I have added some of the houses, the bridges and the waterfall.

I think there's some problem with the buildings roofs shadows. Since you're using elements that you've probably rotated, some buildings don't have the sahdows in the same direction.

Yeah, the shadows are already on the roofs. So the best I could do is try to keep the shadows down and to the right as much as I could. Once I get all the buildings on the map, I will try to correct the shadows as much as I can.

Since the shadows on some buildings seems light, you can probably build some heavy ones on the opposite side to make the trick.

Added more buildings and some of the smaller lanes. Need to add trees and details.

Thanks Ken, I used this waterfall cover from the Dundjinni Forums. I altered the shape, then used a 50% transparency and layered several copies. Then I used a transparent Ocean Foam cover to make the downriver foam.
