Map Apr / May 2016 Lite Challenge: The Stakeout

Well, this is my first contribution, a quick map inspired by a story from my tabletop RPG. I spent 4-5 hours on it, I think, but I'll see if I have the time to add some details later !

Very nice! Has a nice atmosphere about it, as if someone just sketched it up, I like it. Great entry!

Yeah, I like it. It's almost like one of those illustrations you might find in an adventure book! Great to have you in the challenge and with your first contribution too!

Thanks for your reviews ! I wanted that feeling of a quick handmade map at the bottom of a letter, so I'm glad it's working ^__^

Yup, it's working. Great map!. I like your art style, very nice. The slight curve at the bottom of the plateau parts are a nice touch. So often I see them drawn to where they are just straight up and down lines with no real curve as they get to the bottom. I love it!

Nice map. A while back I had "Map an Ambush" as a theme, this would have qualified for that too.

very nicely done!!! I like the 'storyline' too! And yes, it definitely feels like a quickly sketched map sent to someone. A very unique approach to the challenge!

Wow, this challenge is proving very interesting!
