Map Gods of the Fall: A World Map by TheRedEpic

    Hey all,

Here is the world map I finished up a few months back for the Gods of the Fall RPG setting book.

GotF is from Monte Cook games, the folks that brought us the Numenera RPG. The map itself is included with the book as both a large fold out map, and also wraps the inside cover. I have included the full version and the cropped map version. The full version s filled with text, type, and info on the world and its people that were added later by someone in-house, and it was my job to create a legible inset map that would be surrounded by such info.

This piece was sort of a mix of my styles, and its got some graphic elements that i've been using more and more (Clouds and mountains). MC let me run a bit wild and add some neat design elements becasue honestly I thought it was a little sparse when I first got the sketch. I particularly like how the Cerulen peaks came out, and their execution is a throwback to the days when I did the Demonomican world map for 4th Edition DnD. Always liked how they came out, so I figured what the hell.

    Questions comment, crits, always welcome!
    ~J

Wow! That looks incredible!! I have to ask, is this hand drawn? Whether it is or not, very impressive!!! I especially love the red!

    ...wow.

Yeah. Wow. That pretty much covers it.

--One comment on labels: in your post you mention the Cerulean Peaks, but on the map they seem to be labeled "Cerulen Peaks." Should there be an extra "a" in that label?

This map is beautiful. I love the vortex of clouds in that bay. Such a striking idea.
