March 2017 Challenge: The Voyage of the Caribbean Crown
This is pretty bare-bones so far, but I wanted to at least post something! My map is going to show the (very) ill-fated voyage of a luxury cruise ship from our world, the Caribbean Crown, that gets sucked through a portal to another world. I'm getting a really late start on this, but I think I've got time to finish. We'll see...

All the geographic layout is done. This is supposed to be a governmental brief that's now a museum piece, hence the battered look. I'm not sold on the font - I was trying to get a 1940s or 50s atlas look, not sure I'm quite there yet.

Very nice start and nice background. I love the landscapes and the paper crease.
Woah, this is a very promissing start. Gonna keep an eye on that one.
I may be in the minority, but I think you've got the font down just fine for the time period. Check out these Systems maps for American Airlines. Other than titles, most of the info is shown in regular bolded font.
