Anyone else playing this game? The reason I mention this is because of it's community, It's a vibrant Sci-Fi oriented group, many of whom are keen on artwork and the depiction of planets within the verse.
With the promise of private servers/systems in the future, I would advise mapmakers/symbols and Icon artists to look into this community if you haven't already. I've been stunned to be asked to work on Orgs iconography already, since I am no pro at it.

Looked at it shortly half a year ago, but the price tag on those packages seemed a little steep. But the game itself looked pretty neat I know I'll never find time for it anyway

I'd love to try it, but I'm not really interested in paying for something that isn't even half baked. They've already secured ridiculous amounts in funding, and they're still asking for more. Hopefully it's all worth it.
