Default Aran & Ilan - novel version (finished)

    Hey all!

Those of you that have followed me a bit will probably be struck by horrible waves of déjà-vu when they see this map, and for good reason: I have indeed tried my hand at this particular place before. As a matter of fact, I've been writing a novel for over 18 years now (more than half of my life - yes I'm crazy!) and I just now started doing the rounds past the publishers. I actually found one who's interested! Which meant that I had to develop a version of my map that's actually printable. So no nifty colours and huge levels of detail, this one had to be precise and concise.

So this is what I came up with:

    Thoughts? Remarks? Let 'em come!

Think this might be my favorite version of the map. As you mentioned, precise and concise. Well done and good luck with your novel.

Thanks guys! You're just too kind!

Also, this is aimed at the wonderful mods rather than you wonderful cartographers: I noticed a small error in the image and tried to replace it with a new one. Now my new image appears on the right spot, but the old one is still displayed as an attachment. Usually I can fix that by hitting "Go Advanced", but that just opens a page saying "this page isn't working".

This isn't a new issue either - I've had it on and off for quite a while. Does anyone know a fix?

A very attractive b/w map, Caenwyr! I love it (i know, i said it lots of times...but this is the finished map thread, so it has to be repeated ). This will be one of the best looking bookmaps ever (and believe me, i read tons and tons of fantasy novels).

I also left some additional comments/questions in the WIP thread some minutes ago.

If i can, i'll rep you.

As always, i hope to see more maps from you (if possible soon )

I agree with the others, it's really awesome to see another version of this map. All round an excellent and outstanding map, you converted it to b&w beautifully!
