Thread: The Arcane University of Opath

Map The Arcane University of Opath

    Hi, everyone!

After the Lands of Opath and the city of Alberich, I present you the Arcane University of Opath!

The structure lays inside a pocket dimension, accessible from a portal on the streets of Alberich.

I'm super happy with the results, since I can see my own progress over the last few months. This is the first time I map a structure so it was a challenge, since I decided to use military perspective — something I did on college assignments many maaany years ago, and never tried again.

    Hope you all enjoy it!

Wow, there's a huge amount of work on this one.

Great use of architecture. I love all the nice details you added to the frame.

If I may suggest, I think a little more contrast could really benefit the whole piece in terms of readability and color.

Keep up the good work !

Thanks, Marc! The frame took so long to finish, I'm super happy with the result! As for the colors... they sure look a little bit pale... I was trying to make something different from my other maps, which are super colorful, but maybe I've strayed too far haha. I'll tweak them a bit for sure!

    Cheers!!

The colors are fine. It's more about the balance between dark and light.

All the great details of the frame deserve to be more visible.

Awesome work. The architecture design is marvelous! The heraldry is perfect. Coffee and guaraná branches is amazing. And I would like to highlight the point of view of the main building entrance, it kind remember the renaissance paintings.
