Welcome to the Challenge Kier, glad you could make it!

Don't include the monsters on the map unless they are static like a statue.

Reminder, this map is made of 1 inch = 10 ft squares, but for the battlemap entry, we want 1 inch = 5 ft squares, so the map is going to be twice the size it looks like..

Alright. My first update. Despite the lack of progress, I have been looking forward to getting into this. Although I hate angles that dont line up with the grid, lol. And walls that are thin and not full squares. But, with that said. I have read, and reread the descriptions of the dungeon levels and really looking forward to the next 3 weeks of working on this. I assume deadline is around the 14th or so of January, and with a 4 day weekend for me hoping to crush out work on it.

This is the base level. Following suit with some others with a tanish, yellow limestone. Had my walls up but didnt like them, resolution didnt carry over, so just put up the dark black section for now.

Good start, looks like you have the general layout all set! Looking forward to seeing it with the walls.

Walls are in, I think. Still want to smooth out some of the lines on the tops of the walls. A little to bricky for what I am going for here.

I think the doors are next, then the fun will really begin making the specialized assets for all the rooms.

It looks great with the walls, but I do agree, the "Brickiness" can make the solid areas look like floor at first glance.

Doors are in. Wasnt sure what to do with the double doors. Are they really double doors or just mammoth doors. Double for now. Printed off the descriptions so will start working room by room now. I think I want to make the top of the walls a slighlty different shade.

I believe that in the old D&D style maps the door symbol simply showed that there was a door there not necessarily the size. If they wanted to represent double doors, then there would be 2 door symbols together.
I think your doors are fine.

And the final push is on. Has been a tough week at work but going to power through it over the next couple days.

1st room is nearly complete. Created the spear barrel on the north wall, adapted a fireplace I created from another challenge, and a fountain pool from my collection. Snagged table and benches from Bogies stash. The meat on the table needs some work. Clothing pile is still a work in progress as well, but getting there for the 1st room
