Well, I tried my hand at some non-map artwork, quick made hero-and-monster scene. I'd appreciate some critique.

I think it's pretty good, far better than anything I could manage.

Got me beat. You going to do a background? Looks like a very big chuul.

Looks great! I wonder about the bent knee though... it looks like it would likely bend in the reverse direction... though i might be wrong.

Very nice Sapiento. Agree with Philipstephen about the knee looking odd though. I bet you whipped this up in five minutes between doing two maps before dinner time.

(Philipstephen, hurry up and finish your lovely map.)

Looks good. I concur on the CHULL aspect.

    Thanks for the responses.
I wanted to give the image the impression, that the monster turns to the hero (in a turn-left movement), as it was disturbed while walking (to the left side), and now it is in the stage of turning its body.
Well, I guess I need more planning for something like this. But it overcame me to draw this (little voices in my brain), and for a 90-minutes painting it could have been worse.

Yep, it's great for a 90 minuter. I think the knee on the warrior is in the same situation. It might just need more shading but unless he's Joe Theisman

edit: My wife had heard of Joe Theisman but never seen the clip...I googled it and showed her and she almost tossed her cookies. Then she was mad at me for showing her and I had to go play Ramah's "My daddy taught me good" clip a few times so she could reset her mind.
