hmmmm... maybe I'll try this one. But with a new job and all, not sure if I'll have time.
This month's contest is to map a battle,
It can be at any scale, in any genre or time period that you wish from a tavern brawl to a starfleet battle involving hundreds of ships or one of the many battles fought by Alexander the Great.
As usual the contest will close towards the end of the month.
Let battle commence!

just thought of John Clease who "boxed for Oxford" contra Kevin Kline who "killed for the CIA in "A fish called Wanda", but thats a fight - don't know how many men to make it a battle, but more than one on each side ... thinking of going to sea for this one

People come and people go. I walk amongst them, I see their faces; but none see mine. I pass them in the streets but nary a glance is spared my way, for what interest would they have in a Wanderer? Not of this world... Forever Alone... Forever Wandering... LoneWandererD...

Still haven't decided whether it's going to be a massive battle between two underwater sub fleets or an ambush by a airbourne company on a scout group. Either way I going for a sci-fi feel, I'll probably go with the latter as it would involve more creativity, I've done underwater maps already and they're a bit too easy and a bit too simple.
