Stalactites hold 'tite' to the ceiling.

    And yes, it's looking great.

    Heh, that works.

I've always remembered them by Stalags hang "tight" to the ceiling.

Edit: Bsh! Torstan's post almost copied word for word. I'd say great minds think alike but it seems some of those great minds don't read the second page of the threads. Hehe.

A long time ago I was told to "just drop the 'e' at the end, and you'll always remember".
Slightly distasteful, but it still holds true to this day.

    Yeah, I know.
    I'll get my coat.

Thanks for the comments so far, and the education on stalagtites.
I had always used the stalag-tight way, with the addition of stalag-mights, they might eventually reach the ceiling.

Hahaha, thanks jfrazierjr, I think that one actually has a hope of sticking in my head. I've always had to look that up.

    Here's another nights work.
I don't mind saying that I might have bitten off more than I can chew.
I'll be noodling on this for months I think.

Maybe so, but I bet it will look damn cool when it's done.

The ISO maps are looking very cool, DevinNight.

As for the stalagmite and stalactite issue, I remember which is which this way: stalagmite has a 'g' in it that stands for ground, and stalactite has a 'c' in it that stands for ceiling.
    Cheers,

Hah, another distasteful way to remember: "They're 'tight' because they go down instead." Told that by a geology professor! :0
