This sort of map is what a cityscape isometric style was really intended for: to provide a useful overview as well as something that can be used for locating destinations by someone on the ground. Comparing it to the actual city shows how this map is carefully focused on a particular purpose rather than showing the "reality" of the situation (compare to http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Madura...27344&t=h&z=15 with the above mapping having East as up). These sorts of advertising maps are always interesting for what's not labeled as much as for what is.
