Map 04 - Cayad, Realm of the Carnelian God-Empress

Greetings mortals,
i present you Cayad, an empire ruled by the otherworldly God-Empress Yshtar. Since she set her aetherial feet on the dusty plains of Duun hundreds of years ago, her first worshippers the insectoid "Ktlaq" swept away the surrounding kingdoms making them bow to the will of the Carnelian Empress. In the heartlands of Cayad, the otherworldly decent of Yshtar is impacting the landscape in sometimes bizarre ways, defying the laws of nature.

If and how the God-Empress decided to participate in the wars waged around the Cheesy Sea will be part of the next post i guess . For now, there is only a peace treaty with the fey country to the east.

This is just a placeholder for now, working out the landscape atm.

After the ritual killing of my software, Yshtar the God-Empress showed some mercy, sparing the poor cartographer-drone's life... in the end the northern mountain ranges, keeping the tropical breeze away from the arid hinterland, were back again (in a "slightly" different version ofc^^).
