Fantasy World Map (Relief Already Generated)

Hello! I'm creating a homebrew world for my DnD campaigns and was looking for some assistance in fleshing out the world map. I've got a relief map generated (see the link below) but need some help adding cities/features/political boundaries and making it look a little more authentic. This is purely for home-use, but I am happy to pay for some skilled assistance.

Ideally looking for a clean looking design similar to this:

It was generated by my partner using fractal terrains. Sadly neither of us are artistic enough to take it any further.
