Welcome to the guild. Don't worry, some of us read everything
If the radiance of a thousand suns was to burst at once into the sky, that would be like the splendor of the Mighty One...I am become Death, the Shatterer of worlds.
-J. Robert Oppenheimer (father of the atom bomb) alluding to The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 11, Verse 32)

With a title like that, i was guaranteed to read it.

Wouldn't that be reverse ichthyology?

It's only ichthyology if you don't want to mix your Latin and Greek roots. If you're willing to do a little mixing the you get "piscology," which is close enough to psychology to work in the context. Much like finding out that thesaurus means "the lizard" (from the English "the" and the Greek "saurus", meaning "lizard").
Ah, nothing like a little entomology work to get the bugs out. Not to be confused with "ettinmology" which is the study of what nasty two-headed ogre-type creatures to to unfortunates that cross their path.
Okies, I need sleep. More specifically, I need to drive two hours, wait two more hours to get onto a flight for three hours to wait for two hours to get on a flight that goes another couple of hours so that I can drive a rental car to a haunted hotel in New Orleans where I can get some sleep.
