Wip My first interior map of a casino

I found a lot of the furniture assets online. I did build the tables with my own textures. Eventually I would like to build all of my own assets but that takes a long time for small amount of detail. I still need some work on lighting and adding bump maps to my textures.

Seems like you'd have trouble sleeping in those rooms, with the casino right there
The floor picture under the sofa on the right is quite nice

I didn't post the female staff as I wanted to keep it PG rated, but that is for paid companionship not sleeping. The stage has some dancers on it.

You know what, one of the things about building maps with objects from all over is that they can sometimes look like a collage of different styles. You have somehow managed to make all these pieces absolutely belong together. Nice work!

As to lighting, I know JackTannery has done some amazing lighting in maps I've seen. There are others here too who are really good at shedding light, I just can't remember other names right now. But check that one out.

    cheers,
    Meshon

    Thanks Meshon.

Zeichen, I agree with Meshon: your map looks unusually cohesive for having raided online for assets! Building your own tables no doubt helps here. As for your lighting, I think it is fine as it is: not too dark, present but not dominating. I don't recommend attempting a complex lighting scheme on this map due to the large amount of things you have going on. Maps with a very strong lighting are best envisaged that way from the beginning and kept as sparse as possible so the lighting is not fighting with the decor, imo.
