Early WIP - mostly just the basic terrain features, etc.
I hope to have a bit of a back story as well.
Feel free to leave C&C.

Venus Public Transit, Map Of Ceres, Jack Vance's Ports Of Call & Lurulu ... why do I only have 3 maps here?
I want to live in the Black Hills of South Takota.
Nice start. I like how there is a barely visible shelf under the water near the shore line.
@Immolate - No Black Hills, but there may be some Gold ones
@Nolgroth - Thanks...it's my take on Ascension's continental shelf in his Atlas tutorial
@töff - That'll probably be the last thing I do, even if it's only a short paragraph

@ Immolate: LOL.
This is a great start SG, I love the textures (of course)
Can't wait to see more.
Looks like a good start to me. Kinda reminds me of the Black Sea.
Cheers,
Roger

Yay, I was worried at the start of this month that this comp would have a low take up, but how wrong I was!!!
Great to see you puttin in an entry, SG!
Thanks Ravs! I had thrown away a couple of ideas before settling on this one (I still may come back to the 'Creature Emporium' idea someday ).
But if I don't find some good symbols to use for the various resources, this is never going to get done.
