What do others think about maps not created for this effort getting located in the world?
I have a few maps that aren't really "anywhere" and could be re-purposed...

In my opinion, we should open up another region, and allow city/even dungeon mapping to start. I know it means we'll be a bit spread out, but I think some people like mapping their 'niche' more then others. Now I want to try out city mapping for sure, I love looking at those one's... Over n over.... Anyways, I thought it'd get more people on board that way.
Also, local/city maps should follow the region, but of course when you get up close all kind of things could happen

I reckon allowing unused maps to locate is a great idea. Oh and I'm not expecting for anyone to wait for my tile - if you got some good ideas and you wanna stick it down on my map then plan where you want to put them. I don't think it would be good to have the small scale stuff on a separate map tile. I like terrain but I'm kinda keen to get to the villages and cities. I have been doing a lot of terrain for about a year now.
I'm all for people bringing pre-made maps fit contextually. There must be hundreds, if not thousands of maps hanging around these forums that are just crying out for a context. Bring 'em on I say/

I've been lurking these threads believe it or not...And I'm wondering if a Wiki wouldn't be warranted. I do have some limited experience setting up Wiki and as long as someone moderates it and account creation is limited (similar to how Pyrandon's world is done) I'll set it up.
I was also thinking about using a google map API to view the world...but that will require a little development on my end...I'll see what i can do...I need to know if A) you guys think a Wiki would be useful and not excessive, and B) Who wants to moderate and manage accounts?
