I have finished it up at 3:50
Added labels, a title, an overview map (thanks to google and inkscape's trace bitmap function).
I have more I'd like to do, mainly along the "blinkenlights" enhancements and meaningless techno-babble, but will leave it as is.
Oh - the blue "lightening" in the plan view is supposed to represent the fissures described in the writeup.

That is so cool! Superb work, Rob! The radar bit on the right is brilliant! I found some brilliant technobabble brushes on deviant art, here but they're for photoshop only. Does Gimp use PS brushes?

Latest version of GIMP will use some PS brushes without conversion. But there a lot of tech brushes at DA that are already converted for Gimp, as well! (the latest brush pack I pulled from DA was a "star" set I used to make my "glitter avatar")Originally Posted by ravells
