Default going for hand drawn. again.

O.k. there wasn´t much time those last months and I´ve been on and off my favourite pasttime. I put together some mountain brushes and started to throw them together on a dummy map. I would like to have your opinion. CC welcome.

p.s. I scaled those brushes down because I designed them to big for my original purpose. kept them anyway. We had such a long and wonderful time together
p.s.s. Added some trees because it was too bland.. THX Ramah and every contributor for TreeThing. Great tool!

This one is very tedious for me. Created some custom brushes, build out the landmass and searched for a fitting style. Now for the hard and fun work of placing all those landmarks...

Hey, that's a good look, Troedel. How big a landmass is this, and what latitudes does it span?

I'm puzzled by the big lakes in and on the edge of the desert.... is there a story? Or are you letting the generated random landforms drive you? If you had a likely symbol for it, all three of those might do nicely as salt flats. Not enough fictional worlds indulge in salt flats, Gandalara excepted.

Not really decided on the size of landmass , thinking of bigger europe, including mediterranian area. I´ll keep going.

That is kind of pretty. Maybe toss in a bit of purple. Though I'm not sure pretty is what you are going for it can't hurt.

THX for the encouragement. I thought about a clasic border with neatlines and such and have decided against it. Tell what you think about this one ( there is even a slightest hint of purple, anymore and I would have droped dead in an instant ).
