    Default city map for travel guide

    Can you please help me with a map for a turist guide if you have any free time?

    Project scope: a simple and clean map that will be used in a free printed turist guide. there are a few streets/district we should focused on, i atached a link/picture

    Technical: 300 dpi at 210x297mm . Jpg, tiff, or png files, full color

    Copyright: Remains with cartographer. The map will be published/reproduced in the guide so i will need the permission to do that.
    Transfer of files: Via an FTP upload to a server that I will provide

    yes it's bucharest, but i only need a map for a small part, a few streets from the old town either normal turist guide style or something with a medieval look

    For a real world map, you'll need to work out a source of data. You can't just trace over a screenshot of Google Maps as it's restricted by copyright. OpenStreetMap might work if you are OK with the license terms.

    You can usually also get data from governmental sources; at least in the US, anything actually gathered by the USGS is public domain (although their maps sometimes contain data which is copyrighted, so you have to look at the maps' notices).
