Cool... If you do end up posting some stuff here, make sure you include details on how it's licensed. Many people here make their stuff available via some version of the creative commons license (check my sig for a link to their site). There are various versions which grant different types of permissions. If you have any questions, just ask.

Welcome Tonydowler. I think you will find many map geeks here who are keen to share ideas, tips and crits. Your stuff looks really cool and the style is clearly your own. I think you'll have a great time here. Post and post often.
Cheers

Being the detail freak that I am (most of the time that is) I love those Flickr images with all the crenelations and tiny tidbits. A hearty welcome and a Hi-Oh Silver.
Glad you popped in to say hi!
Hope you will post more of your work here.
Quick question - is the game word you have on flickr done on commission, or because you have a personal connection to the game developers?
Just curious...

A little of both.
Several of them were role-playing game commissions. A couple of the games aren't published yet. The Nihon map was for Blossoms are Falling

The Europe maps are for Spione, a cold-war spy game:

There are also maps for Stranger Things and Lanasia, neither of which has been published. The big city map is for Talislanta, just because I'm a fan. The other are variou and sundry game worlds I've played in or stuff I did for fun.
