    oops - one more thing-

not sure how you did your forests, but I created an extension called re-stack, that I mention here:

    http://www.cartographersguild.com/showthread.php?t=1257

    and on my website here:

    http://ffaat.pointclark.net/blog/arc...k-Z-order.html

Though it was going to be included in the inkscape distribution, so you may already have it...

    Keep up the good work.
I was intending to do a little post processing later on. I'll remember to take a look at that.

P.S. you can zip the svg and upload it if you are willing.

    Also, have some rep.
Huh. Didn't realize you could do that. I'll include the SVG, then.

    Thanks.

Inkscape's bug tracker says it'll be included in 0.47, which is the next release (0.46 is still the current version). I'll try it out.

By the way, I did the placement of the forests by hand. All by hand. Made a tree from a green-filled circle with a black stroke, then grouped it with a brown stroke for the trunk. I then copy-pasted and arranged every single one. Once I was done with a section of forest, I grouped all of the trees.

As per RobA's suggestion, I've included a zipped version of the SVG file in case anyone wants to mess around with it.

Picked up the latest development snapshot of Inkscape and tried it out. Would have saved me some time when I was first doing it, but doesn't really do all that much now.

    Thanks.
