Well done Torq - that was a nice map. Rob and Overwatch too well done. I was not sure about what Overwatch used but Torq and Rob used WIlbur which I think is another silent victor here too.

    Congrats Torq!

I thought I might have a chance early on, but you clearly dominated!

@ Overwatch - nice run from behind! another day of voting and I think you would have surpassed me...(hmmmm, maybe I shouldn't have voted for you )

Guess I should stick to a unique style the next time around...though, on a personal note, I accomplished what I wanted to do, which was to demonstrate that free and open source tools can produce products comparable with the big money software!

    Post Well done.

    Congratulations Torq.

I like your map for the following reasons:

    1. realistic flowing rivers, downhill.
    2. colors, easy on the eye.
    3. text, different font, sizes & colors (opaque) emphasize features.
    4. all the outlines and strokes are just perfect, blends in without pixelation.
    5. dotted lines for roads and waterways.
    6. names chosen for towns, rivers, lakes & mountains.
    7. implemetation of a nordic icefield.

It realy shows how much you enjoyed doing this map.

    Well done.

    Regards
    Benarius

Praise Congrats to Torq and everyone else

Great job, Torq. It really was a very pretty map and reminded me of the maps from grade school, you know the ones that were raised a bit so you could feel the mountains and all of that . . . Well deserving of the win.

And to everyone else, well done as well.

    Congratz Torq!

Just wondering, but when is the next challenge?
