The Bible... Jonah and the Whale?
(Actually I've read that that line from the Bible actually only says... Jonah was in a great fish... with no other reference to a "whale", and that being in a "great fish" literally meant "having problems" or "being in a pickle", so there really isn't a reference for being swallowed by a fish. Something I heard anyway, and sounds more believeable than the general consensus of the meaning of that biblical line.)
